FREE Social Enterprise Seminar

Aspire to Enterprise is a Scottish Government funded programme offering development support to ambitious social enterprises in Lowland Scotland.  As a key part of that programme Aspire is offering a series of FREE half day seminars on crucial aspects of social enterprise activity.

We are pleased to announce details of the following event which we are running at a venue in the Borders:

Social Enterprise Business Models

This half day seminar will comprise two main aspects: firstly, an overview of the various legal structures available to social enterprises, such as company limited by guarantee with charitable status, and issues around setting up a trading subsidiary. Secondly, a discussion of the business model options available to organisations developing their social enterprises e.g. replication, franchising and acquisition.
