Four
CVS in the Borders have combined under the new name of ‘The
Bridge’ to provide a range of services under one umbrella.
The Bridge was
formed on 1st April 2007 by the amalgamation of the long established
councils for voluntary service in Central Borders(CBAVS), Roxburgh
(RAVS) and Tweeddale (TAVO) together with the Borders Forum of CVS
(BFCVS).
The
Bridge Mission Statement
To encourage and support the growth of Scottish Borders communities
through the development of a high quality, dynamic and effective
voluntary and community sector which focuses on improving the quality
of life for all Scottish Borders citizens.
Details
The Bridge is the trading name of Scottish Borders Community Development
Company which is a Charitable Company limited by guarantee. Company
registration number 305830 Charity Number SC037646
